Superchic’s 1st Day of Preschool

 

Superchic started prescool today, let’s just say she was excited to the point that she couldn’t (wouldn’t) go to sleep last night. Of course I missed it all because I had to go to work. Luckily Ladybug went with her and Shawn and took pictures for me. Doesn’t she look proud.

 

Of course we had to get the obligatory “walking” to school photo even though she has to be driven. Notice the tall posture.

Poof, it’s gone. All of a sudden she wants to be invisible, the only thing that says she wants to be there is that she’s not dangling by her wrist being dragged.

Superchic loves playdough and pink. So what could be better than pink playdough? Probably nothing but being told that yes, she can play with it, and no she won’t getin trouble for playing with it. (Shawn has a playdough phobia.)

  

Here she is at the end of the day with her teacher Mrs. Linda, who she adores already. Ladybug had a very hard time getting her to get in the car to go home. Luckily telling her she could go back tomorrow worked.

And not to be forgotten of course is Rapunzel. Who started third grade today. She got the teacher we requested and he seemed ready for her. They even gace out spelling words today, whoo-hoo. That means actual work in the first week of school. Which is almost unheard of.

Rapunzel was very glad to get her third favorite teacher. (I say third because she also adored her first and second grade teachers.) She was also very excited to have her Best Fried Cat in her class this year also. There were acouple of other lids as well but they were boys and she didn’t care about them. Thank you for small favors.

Eight Is Not Enough

 
 
 
 

Sierra, Phoenix, Ink Spot, and Whitney. Sue’s four.
Sassy, Bamm-Bamm, Tito. My three.
Joey. A recent adoptee, Saturday.
But of course that wasn’t enough. We had to adopt all these little cuties until they can be adopted out. So if you’re interested let me know.
They are Tiger, the big blue eyed orange tabby.
Forest, the buff one, he’s needs special care.
Smokey, the grey and white one.
Da Girl, the calico, named by Rapunzel.
And then there’s Monkey, and Mischief, the orange and white ones.
Monkey, named by SuperChic, has a little more white on his shoulders.
All are boys except for Da Girl.
